The cases are from St Alban’s (Hertfordshire) and Ledbury (Herefordshire). The UK has now seen 286 confirmed cases in total, with 7 cases in 2022. This disease is still rare, so we’re advising dog owners to remain calm but vigilant and seek advice from their local vet if their dog develops unexplained skin lesions.
